pneumatic loaders and small batch material transfer
Vacuum technology is an efficient way to convey dry powder products through dedicated pipe systems. Food, pharmaceutical and chemical production processes often come with high demands for safety and hygienic operations. Piab's "piFLOW" conveyors have been specifically developed as an answer to these requirements throughout food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Piab conveyors are ATEX Dust Certified, while "piFLOWp" and "piFLOWt" technologies are ATEX Gas Certified as well. All conveyors are available with either an ejector driven vacuum pump or with a mechanical pump.
What type of vacuum technology do you need?
Premium and Pharmaceutical grade handling (Piab piFLOWp)
When premium technology is needed, or when there is a big demand on high throughput performance with a small foot print. This system has a capacity range of 2 liters batch volume up to 56 liters. All conveyors are available with either an ejector driven vacuum pump or with a mechanical pump.

Tablets and frigile product handling (piFLOWt)
When extra care is needed, especially to handle tablets or fragile products in the food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries. This system also delivers a high throughput performance with a small foot print. The piFLOWt has a high capacity range – suitable for transporting up to four million tablets per hour.

Food grade handling (piFLOWf)
When food grade quality is a primary concern. This conveyor is often used as an alternative to mechanical conveyors when there is a requirement for dust free conveying or low maintenance. Capacity ranges up to 4 tons per hour. All conveyors are available with either an ejector driven vacuum pump or with a mechanical pump.

Industrial grade handling (piFLOWi)
This is a conveyor widely used in general industry and chemical applications. It has a high throughput performance as well as a small foot print. Capacity ranges up to 4 tons per hour. All conveyors are available with either an ejector driven vacuum pump or with a mechanical pump.
